Volunteer Opportunities
The
Community House of Hamilton & Wenham organizes many exciting
activities and events monthly. We are always in needs of enthusiastic
community volunteers to lend a hand and support these programs. Volunteer
opportunities include:

Administrative support in The Community House office: answering phones,
assemble mailings, filing, and more.

Teen night chaperones for Rising Star Open Mic Night, dances, and game
nights.

Event volunteers for community activities such as Breakfast with Santa,
Fireside Concerts, Two Town Fourth of July, Winterfest, and other events
throughout the year. These volunteers may assist with the event planning
process or the day of the event only.
Volunteerism among teens has become a popular way to help develop job skills
and contribute to the community. There are many ways for teens to complete
their hours at CSHW:

Catering service for fundraising events such as Harvest Dinner, Winterfest
and Breakfast with Santa.

Greeters and coat checkers for formal fundraising events.
-
Sell candy and refreshments for Open Mic and Family Movies.

Landscaping in the spring and fall.
-
Spring spruce up.
-
For mature teens: administrative assistance in the CSHW office.

Program assistance with senior community members.
