  • Retirees and Wannabees - Educational, cultural, and leisure activities to benefit all adults.

  • Music at Eden's Edge
    Take advantage of special ticket discounts to the 2008 Summer Concert Series – truly one of the areas most anticipated cultural events.  Members of the Community House can receive a 20% group discount for purchasing six or more tickets to any one concert (with the exception of the Cape Ann Museum). In addition a special family rate of $60.00 for the entire family will be offered.  Call 978-270-4463 or online at www.edensedge.org.

    The 2008 Summer Concert Series – the 27th season kicks off on June 20-21 with five extraordinary programs from June thru September.  These concerts feature exceptional musical artists performing in some of the areas most beautiful and distinctive settings.  This years venues include the Peabody Essex Museum, Cape Ann Museum, Endicott College, New England Biolabs and of course our beautiful Community House.

  • Sing and Dance with the Music Man, Brian Doser
    Children's Sing-a-Longs - Fridays at 10:00 am.

    Brian Doser, a local Wenham resident and musician, most famous for his children's sing-alongs at the Great Harvest Bread Company and Wenham Tea House, will begin performances at the Community House on Fridays, beginning May 2nd at 10am and each Friday thereafter!   

    Admission is free, but tips for the performer and contributions to the Community House are encouraged. For more information about Brian, you may visit www.briandoser.com.

  • Neverland Theater - Various Drama Workshops, Talent Shows, Children's Shows and ongoing rehearsals for musical and non-musical productions. We are in our 15th year of the summer camp at the Community House.
    Neverland Camp for the Performing Arts - For ages 8 - 13
    July 21 - August 1, 2008 - Daily Professional Guest Artists in the field of Acting, Singing, Dancing, Shakespeare, Audition Techniques, Mime, TV Commercial, Dialects, Mask Making. Directors: Andrew Diskes and Penny MacCallum. To learn more go to: www.neverlandtheatre.com

  • Special Friends - Special Friends has been a program of Community Service of Hamilton and Wenham for over 25 years. Adults with mental disabilities meet about 10 times each year for social and cultural programs and activities. An annual Picnic and Swim Party is hosted by Joanne Patton each summer at Green Meadows Farm, and dances, movies, art workshops and more fill the rest of the calendar. To be included on the mailing list, please contact the Community House office.

  • Theresa Hearne Memorial Scholarships - Each Spring, the Community House offers (3) $1,000 scholarships to Hamilton-Wenham Seniors. Scholarship awards are awarded to students who have exhibited an active role in school and community volunteer organizations, and demonstrated a commitment to helping others in our two towns.
