Share the Music is a group of singers based in Rockport, Massachusetts who regularly perform at charitable events on the North Shore. Music Director Wendy Betts and the singers are delighted to share their talents with the groups and organization who support our local communities.
The 1920s was the decade of entertainment. Talk about CELEBRATING! People danced until they dropped, the radio became popular, and people tuned in everyday. The TV was not invented yet, so the radio was THE thing. When they listened, people liked to listen to jazz, especially the king of jazz, Louis Armstrong. But never fear, people weren't couch potatoes, sitting next to the radio. Movies were also a big hit. This was a decade of elegance, a time of prohibition and violence, a time of spirit and creativity. This is what our show is all about...
Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
